I'm Back! . . .Again!

I know I keep doing this...on again off again thing. Sorry, maybe I have ADD or something. No, really I just have poor time management skills and I am a huge procrastinator, and have been all of my life.

Anyway, school is going well. I got straight A's for the summer quarter and again for the fall quarter so the pressure is really on me now to keep this up! I am currently taking anatomy & physiology which is a lot of work! I am also taking my 3rd and LAST math class that I will need for my degree. I will be so happy to be done with math...FOREVER!

Cassidi is in 4th grade this year and is doing well and still likes school. Her favorite subject is math (I know, ironic huh?) and she is in the advanced math group. She is still enjoying competitive gymnastics although we swithced gyms at the beginning of this season. She really loves it and is very good! At the last meet she took 1st place all around with an overall score of 36.3 with the highest possible score being 40. Someday I will post a video of one of her routines. I can't say when that will be but I promise that someday I will!

Cambri is in 1st grade this year and she loves school and loves to read! She reads everything she can get her hands on. She also is very artistic and enjoys crafts. We put a large desk in her room with all sorts of art and craft supplies and she will sit in there for hours making all sorts of projects. She played soccer in the fall and will play again this spring. She seemed to enjoy it until she got kicked the first time and then she wanted to quit. We encouraged her to finish the season because the team needed her. She agreed and I think she ended up really having a good time. She is actually quite good at soccer. She is a fast runner and scored many of the goals at the games. She also tried a dance class, a ballet/tap combo, and she LOVED it. Dressing up in the sparkling costume and getting all made up for the recital was probably her favorite part!

I put Tristan in pre-school this year so that I could take a class and I think it has been really good for him. He is already smart as a whip but I think the socializing with other kids his age has been really beneficial. He has been getting better at expressing his needs and sharing. It may be normal development for his age but either way, he is having a lot of fun. Who wouldn't enjoy pre-school?

I'm glad the kids are doing well, and that you will be D.O.N.E. with math!! I am so close to earning the Scentsy trip to Banff, Canada. I am working my butt off to get it done. Glad you found a few minutes to blog :)
