I was holding Tristan with one arm while I was trying to cook an egg with the other and...well I bet you can guess what happened. He saw the red light shining through our flat top stove and was curious. Just as it was happening I was saying "
noooooo!!". But it was too late. He cried for the longest time; it was so sad, poor little guy. After some
Tylenol, lots of
cuddling, and blowing on his hand, he finally fell asleep. One thing is for sure: he will never touch the stove again.

Oh, Melissia, that is AWFUL!! Poor baby, and poor you. I'm so sorry that happened. Makenah burned herself on my curling iron when she was about about 2, I felt so bad.
A few summers ago (in MN) I wanted, well, I had a NEED for chocolate. Not just any chocolate, a 1000 Grand bar a little gooey from the microwave. I went to get my gooey heaven from the microwave and about burned off my pinky finger. All the daycare kids were napping at the time, thank goodness. Oh, how it hurt for about 6 hours. I relate to how he was feeling.
Should that be bandaged up so he doesn't get an infection?
AWWWW poor little Tristan! Luckily he was back to his cheery self again later that day!! :)
